Flying to Sardinia has never been easier

“The new “continuity” air fares to and from Sardinia have been launched, linking even more closely our island to mainland Italy. Low fares are available for residents and non-residents alike on flights between the island’s airports of Cagliari, Olbia and Alghero and the mainland airports of Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate starting from 27 October 2013. The one-way fare (excluding airport taxes) is 45 euro from Rome and 55 from Milan.

The Regional Executive’s Decree No 41/22 of 2012 introduced a new “territorial continuity” scheme, under which reduced fares are granted not only to residents but also – in certain periods of the year – to all passengers travelling to and from Sardinia. These low fares apply to all residents in Sardinia year round, and to non-residents most of the year, from 16 September to 14 June, while during the summer season non-resident fares may vary within a pre-established range.”ource:
